Hangars & Tie Downs

Manassas Regional Airport (HEF) has over 400 based aircraft. The airport has tie-downs and hangar rentals on both the east and west side of the field. If you are interested in basing your business or aircraft at Manassas Regional Airport, please contact the Administration Office for more details.

Monthly rent includes utilities unless the unit is individually metered.

Hangar Waiting List
At this time, there are no vacant City-Owned hangars. The staff would be happy to place your name on a waiting list. You will be required to submit a deposit based on your hangar preferences. Depending on vacancies, individuals placed on the waiting list should expect a wait time of 2 to 3 years. To be placed on the waiting list, please review the waiting list policy and submit your application.

Payment Options for Airport Fees
Rent and fees can be paid online by visiting www.manassascity.org/paymybill under “General Billing.” You can also view additional payment options that are offered.

Rent is due the 1^st of each month. Invoices are billed a month in advance. Please note that invoices and statements will be sent from noreply@manassasva.gov. To receive these, add this email address to your safe sender list. Also, check your spam/junk folders.

Automatic debit can be setup through the Treasurer’s Office by contacting them at treasurer@manassasva.gov.

Maintenance Requests
If you are a tenant in a City Owned hangar and have a maintenance issue, please submit your request using the link above. If you have a maintenance emergency, please contact maintenance directly at 703-361-5438
