We need your feedback on the Sudley Road Trail:
New 1.2 mile bike connection along Sudley Road between Godwin Drive and Grant Avenue
•    Alternatives:
  • Alternative A.1: 10’ shared use path on the west side of Sudley Road between Godwin Drive and Grant Avenue (Cost: $1.65 million)
  • Alternative A.2: 10’ shared use path on the west side of Sudley Road between Godwin Drive and Stonewall Road (Cost: $1.4 million)
  • Alternative E: 10’ shared use path on the west side of Sudley Road between Godwin Drive and Prince William Hospital and off-street bike lanes between Prince William Hospital and Grant Avenue  
  • Note: All concepts include bike lanes on Digges Road
Status:
  • This project is identified in the Bike Network Plan of the Comprehensive Plan
  • The concept was developed in August 2023
  • Project is currently unfunded

Longstreet sidewalk - CopyLongstreet Sidewalk (T-84)
Constructing a sidewalk on the west side of Longstreet Drive between Grant Avenue and Weems Road.
This sidewalk is being built in concurrence with the Longstreet Drive Water Line project.

Wellington 2Wellington Road Shared Use Path Gap (T-88)
Constructing a shared-use path along Wellington Road from Nokesville Road to Prince William Street.

Dumfries SidewalkDumfries Road Sidewalk (T-93)
Construct a sidewalk on the east side of Dumfries Road between Hastings Drive and Milic Street.

Sudley Sidewalk map - CopySudley Road Sidewalk (T-94)
Constructing a sidewalk with a 6-foot buffer on the east side of Sudley Road between Grant Avenue and Mathis Avenue. The sidewalk will be 5 feet wide between Grant Avenue and Portner Avenue, and 6 feet wide between Portner Avenue and Mathis Avenue.
