Mayor's Youth Council

What is the Mayor's Youth Council (MYC)?

It's a formal body of high school juniors and seniors who will advise decision-makers and elected officials. Young people of all ages have found their voice through organizing, advocacy, and community leadership.  This Youth Council has the opportunity to access policymakers and business leaders in the community directly.

Young people want and deserve a voice in the City of Manassas.  City officials make decisions every day that affect our youth.  This is your chance to be a part of the solution, earn school CTE credit, learn leadership skills and it looks great on college applications.
