Daily / Temporary Parking

Temporary Parking Permits
One-time use permits for daily parking or temporary parking issues are available in the Treasurer's Office. These permits are typically used for day trips on the train or for extended visiting in Old Town Manassas, as an example.

The temporary hang-tags are $1.00 and are valid for five consecutive days, Monday through Friday, from the date of issue. Parking is limited to public parking lots marked as 4 hour parking. If you have a temporary parking permit issued by the Treasurer's Office you may park longer in these specific areas, including in the parking garage.

Amtrak Parking
Amtrak travelers can get a free parking pass from the Visitor Center/Train Depot Monday - Sunday, 9 AM-5 PM.

Travelers will need their Reservation number, Train number and license tag information to fill out the form.

Designated Amtrak parking is in 2 areas:

  • The lot across the street from the train depot, where the water tower is located, along the trains tracks.  Travelers will not be towed even if an event is going on.
  • The 2nd floor of the multi-level parking garage in the numbered spots, up the center as if going to the 3rd floor.
