The Patient Rights and Complaint Process (Standard Operating Procedure 2.57) outlines the policy to protect a patient's rights and the manner in which complaints are processed. Additionally, the Notice of Privacy Practices was updated.
New forms have been made available to patients including a hardship waiver for EMS billing, and a patient (or patient representative) request for report. All requests for reports must be accompanied by an Authorization to Release Confidential Information.
