Fire and Rescue FAQs


1. How do I request a fire truck at my event?
  You may make this request online. We do our best to accommodate, but are not always able. Events must be within the City of Manassas. 
   
2. Where are the fire and rescue stations located in the City?
  Station 1 is located at 9322 Centreville Road
Station 21 is located at 10306 Dumfries Road
Headquarters is located at 9608 Grant Avenue, Suite 430; inside the Public Safety Facility
   
3. Do you have any volunteer opportunities?
  Yes; we have multiple ways to volunteer:
CERT - Community Emergency Response Team - aides in disaster response
GMVRS - Greater Manassas Volunteer Rescue Squad - emergency medical response (Junior program available)
MVFC - Manassas Volunteer Fire Company - firefighting
   
4. Will I get a bill if I am transported to the hospital?
  Yes; you will receive a bill if you are transported to the hospital. Your insurance will be billed, and the remaining balance is your responsibility; however, we make every effort to work with citizens. Our billing policy is available online
