Chief William A. Garrett has more than 30 years of experience in fire and rescue services, as a firefighter and Paramedic. He has served in many different capacities: Fire Prevention, Emergency Medical Services, Operations, Support Services, and Strategic Planning. As Fire and Rescue Chief, Chief Garrett manages a highly progressive and professional agency and staff of 62 career members. He works in collaboration with the Manassas Volunteer Fire Company and the Greater Manassas Volunteer Rescue Squad leadership teams in providing oversight of the Fire and Rescue System.
