The City of Manassas is constructing a new Fire and Rescue Station at 10306 Dumfries Road.

Construction began in Fall 2019 with a goal of dedication in early 2021. 

Major milestones, with the estimated date(s):
  • Water and power to the new station will be completed in October 2020
  • Stormwater pipes installed on Dumfries Road will be completed in late October 2020 (see photos above, labeled as "Stormwater")
  • Station will have windows and doors installed by late October 2020
  • Interior finishes, for example, drywall, painting, and flooring to start in November 2020
  • Masonry work continues to proceed and should be completed by mid-November 2020
  • HVAC start-up November - December 2020
  • Furniture install and setup March 2021
  • Commissioning and punch list March - April 2021
  • Move-in May 2021
  • Dumfries Road, from Hastings Drive to Donner Drive / Millie Street to be repaved in Spring 2021
