It's Leaf Collection Time

It's that time of year for leaf collection. Check the schedule to know when leaves will be picked up on your street. (Spanish schedule available here)
  • Have them out the night before the start of your collection days.
  • If you miss getting them out, pack them in paper bags for yard waste day on Mondays, or wait until the next collection date for your street.
  • Please keep leaves away from sidewalks and storm drains.
  • Please don't park your car on leaves--it's a fire hazard!

Electric Bill Charge

Dominion Energy has notified the City that there will be a "pass-through" charge of $11 per residential customer because of the rising cost of natural gas.  You will see this on your utility bill this cycle as the Power Cost Adjustment or PCA.  Utility bills in the City of Manassas are still 7% less than Novec and 7.8% less than Dominion.  If you would like a more simplified explanation, click here.
