Manassas Transfer Station

The Manassas Transfer Station is owned and operated privately by Waste Management. City of Manassas residents are permitted to use the site at the discretion of Waste Management and must wear their own personal protective equipment including a hard hat, high visibility vest, a mask, and gloves. This is non-negotiable and entry will be refused without the proper equipment.

NOTE: Given the current COVID restrictions, residents who wish to dispose of only trash and bulk waste items are advised to take them to the Prince William Landfill located at 14811 Dumfries Rd, Manassas, VA 20112. The facility is open to the general public. City of Manassas residents are not part of Prince William County and will be charged for the use of the facility.

Manassas Transfer Station
The Manassas Transfer Station is owned and operated by Waste Management.  It is located at 8305 Quarry Road (off Liberia Avenue). The Transfer Station takes commercial waste from the surrounding area, which is then transferred to the landfill in Prince George's County.
