Residents are advised to wear masks and stay in their cars when they enter the Manassas Transfer Station in order to comply with COVID-19 safety guidelines.
Here's what happens:
Residents load up their cars with the materials that they would like to drop off. They drive over to the Manassas Transfer Station between 8 a.m. and 12 noon. As they enter the site, they are asked what they have to drop off and are then directed to the areas in the yard where their materials will be accepted. Our contractors will have teams there to help everyone remove their items safely. That's it!
What do we accept?
antifreeze, fertilizers, gasoline, glues, motor oil, paint swimming pool chemicals, cell phones, TVs, computers, scanners, small copiers, game consoles, monitors, and personal documents for shredding (4 box limit.)
*Proof of residency is required to enter and no commercial waste will be accepted.
