I want to hold an event in the City of Manassas. How do I do that?
There are different policies for holding events in the City depending on how you wish to hold your event. Is your event public or private? Is your event on commercial property or on public property? Is your event a public forum? If you know the answer to theses questions, it will make it easier for you to begin planning your event.
Where can I pay a City of Manassas parking ticket?
Parking tickets can be paid at the City Treasurer's Office in person, by mail, in the drop box outside City Hall, or online. Now, there are more ways to pay with more credit cards accepted by the Treasurer's office.
How and where do I get a City of Manassas dog license?
The Treasurer's Office is where residents purchase dog licenses in the City of Manassas. Here are the requirements according to code:
- The Code of Virginia and the City of Manassas requires all owners to license dogs that are over four months old. New residents must license their pets within 30 days of moving to Manassas.
- Dog licenses are renewed annually and expire on December 31st.
- Dog licenses are available beginning in December of the effective year.
- All dog license applications must include a valid rabies vaccination certificate from a licensed veterinarian.
- Owners of neutered males and spayed females pay $5 for their license. Proof of the pet's spay/neuter is required.
