The Manassas City Manager is appointed by the Mayor and City Council to be the Chief Administrative Officer of the city. The City Manager carries out the policy directives of the City Council and manages the daily operations of government. The City Manager oversees the preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets and other reports as may be required for submission to the City Council.

Deputy City Manager
The Deputy City Manager provides leadership and management to the City’s operating departments including the Manassas Regional Airport, Public Works, Utilities, Electric, Water, Sewer, Stormwater Management, Fleet Management, Street Maintenance, Building Maintenance, Customer Service, Engineering, Metering, Operations, and Buildings and Grounds Maintenance. The Deputy City Manager works with the City Manager to carry out policy directives of the City Council.
