Programs Providing Humane Education
Animal Control Officers (ACO’s) present programs to several different schools throughout the year providing information to students on how to:

• Understand the animal world
• Help their pets and families
• Be a responsible pet owner
• Keep safe around many different animals
• Prevent biting
• Handle a dangerous animal
• Report abused animals
• Other topics that come up through discussions

Additional Information
Classes are also provided with information about some of our backyard wildlife, warned not to approach animals, and taught how to reach Animal Control Services.
